Washing and Storage of Underwear.
Share
Underwear is the clothing closest to the body. Firstly, attention should be paid to cleanliness. The materials of underwear are mostly soft, thin and delicate. Don't use excessive force when putting on or taking off underwear. Also, be careful that fingernails don't scratch the fibers. When putting on or taking off underwear, make sure not to get foundation or lipstick on it.
1. Washing
A. Sort underwear and panties according to color and degree of soiling.
B. The most ideal washing method is to wash them by hand in warm water with a neutral detergent by gently pressing.
C. Wash them in cold water or warm water slightly lower than body temperature (below 30 degrees Celsius). Never use hot water.
D. General neutral detergents or neutral detergents specifically for underwear can be used.
E. Use an appropriate amount of detergent. Excessive detergent will burden the materials and damage the underwear artificially.
F. Completely dissolve the detergent in warm water at 30 - 40 degrees Celsius before putting the clothes in. The detergent should not be directly applied to the underwear, as this will cause uneven colors.
G. Never use bleach. Chlorine-containing bleach will damage the materials and turn them yellow.
2. Drying
A. The spin-drying time in the washing machine should be within 30 seconds to prevent the "steel bones" of the underwear from deforming and the material fibers from being damaged due to excessive spin-drying.
B. Avoid forcibly wringing the underwear by hand to squeeze out water. After gently wringing out the water, wrap it with a dry towel and squeeze it by hand so that the water is absorbed by the towel.
C. Carefully flatten the wrinkled clothes back to their original state and tidy up the shape of the cups.
D. Dry them in a cool and shady place. Sun exposure can easily cause the clothes to deteriorate, turn yellow and shorten their lifespan.
3. Storage and Folding
A. Try to minimize the use of sealed plastic bags to store underwear, as long-term enclosure of clothes can easily cause mildew.
B. Avoid putting it together with mothballs and other insect repellents, lest the fabric and elastic lose their elasticity.
C. Woolen underwear should be kept dry and used with desiccants.

In addition, sponge-molded-cup bras should not have their molded cups folded, and the folding methods are different.
Tips for Underwear Maintenance
Generally speaking, washing means removing dirt. However, for underwear, not only should dirt be removed, but also attention must be paid to not damaging the materials, not fading and not deforming.
1. The washing liquid should not be directly applied to the underwear. It should be dissolved in water first and then the underwear should be put in. Meanwhile, hot water should be avoided, and cold water and warm water are preferable.
2. It is ideal to wash by hand as much as possible. If a washing machine is used, please put the underwear in a special underwear washing bag and wash it with a weak water flow to prevent deformation.
3. When washing in the washing machine, three minutes is enough. For particularly soiled parts, gently rub them by hand or brush them gently with a soft-bristled brush.
4. The wire supports that are close to the skin are easier to get dirty. You can rub the two wire supports against each other.
5. After washing, gently press with both hands to squeeze out the water, tidy up the shape of the cups, and fold the bra in half and hang it on the crossbar of the hanger.
6. Hang it in a ventilated place and avoid direct exposure to sunlight to prevent yellowing and deformation.
7. When storing underwear, avoid throwing or squeezing it randomly. It is best to place it in a clean blouse box. Put the bras with the thickest padding on top and arrange them from thick to thin in turn. Match the cups together and place them upside down in the box. Bras with thick padding are the most likely to deform and should be placed on top, while those with thin padding are not afraid of deformation and can be placed at the bottom.
